Chihuly au Musée des Beaux Arts de Montréal (été 2013)

I have yet to go to an exhibit that overthrows the experience I had at the Chihuly exhibit of summer 2013 at Musée des Beaux Arts de Montréal.

I did not know that glass could be this colorful and texturized.

The way the curators placed the artwork in pitch black rooms reminded me of a comfort I had never known nor knew that I needed.

I remember going to this exhibit three times and spending thirty minutes in each room while I let my eyes register the way the light reflected on the colors while I imagined that these artwork were floating in the dark void space.

I try to live in the moment, but when I look at these photos I really do wish I could turn back time.
